Version: R?NTGEN – bi-alfa-cobalt: High-performance bimetal band saw blade with high chrome content spring steel backing and cobalt alloyed (M42) HSS tooth tips (67-69 HRC). Extreme tooth tip hardness, flexible backing. Application: Variable pitch teeth 10? – General purpose for a large range of cross sections (for solid materials from 50 mm). Regular pitch teeth 10? – For larger cross sections from 50 mm contact length. Regular pitch teeth 0? – For smaller to medium cross sections up to max. 70 mm contact length. Suitable for: • 85 m/min cutting speed (vc) in general structural steels up to 500 N/mm2. • 65 m/min cutting speed (vc) in unalloyed quenched and tempered steels up to 750 N/mm2, unalloyed case-hardening steels up to 750 N/mm2, nitriding steels up to 750 N/mm2. • 55 m/min cutting speed (vc) in unalloyed quenched and tempered steels up to 900 N/mm2, unalloyed case-hardened steels up to 900 N/mm2, nitriding steels up to 900 N/mm2, tool steels up to 900 N/mm2. • 35 m/min cutting speed (vc) in alloyed quenched and tempered steels up to 1100 N/mm2, alloyed case-hardened steels up to 1100 N/mm2, alloyed tool steels up to 1100 N/mm2. • 20 m/min cutting speed (vc) in high speed steel up to 1200 N/mm2, alloyed quenched and tempered steels up to 1400 N/mm2, alloyed case-hardened steels up to 1400 N/mm2, alloyed tool steels up to 1400 N/mm2, wear-resistant structural steels up to 1350 N/mm2, spring steels up to 1500 N/mm2. • For use with cutting oil. • Applicable with emulsion with at least 4 % grease content (for tapping at least 8 %).
